Poker group moving to D.C., names new head The Poker Players Alliance announced plans to relocate to the nations capital as well as a change in leadership. The San Francisco, Calif.-based PPA plans to move its headquarters to Washington, D.C. in the coming weeks, but Michael Bolcerek will not make the move with the group and recently stepped down as president. John Pappas, the groups vice president of government affairs since May, succeeds Bolcerek as president. Working in policy and political consulting for the past 10 years, Pappas was a public affairs consultant for Washington public relations firm Dittus Communications before coming on board with PPA.
